Abstract

The main objective of this research is to describe the biopsychosocial context prevailing in adolescents aged 12 to 15 years old from a school in Carmen del Paraná. A qualitative approach was adopted, and the instrument used for data collection was a semi-structured interview designed for the participants. The sample was composed of 30 students of Basic School Education and 7 teachers of an educational institution. The data processing was carried out by means of coding and categorization and is presented by means of tables and graphs for subsequent analysis. The results obtained show that the students have information regarding sexual education, but gender stereotypes present in our culture are still evident, as well as the teachers mention the importance and the need to reinforce sexual and gender education to create an egalitarian society for all people.
