Estudio del lenguaje en su contexto social

Abstract

This paper presents a descriptive analysis from an anthropological linguistic scope, of a local legend, in a rural context in the province of Misiones, Argentina. The text is analized on the background of the concept of culture and the concept of speech community which is conceived in a social context. Both, ethnographic and sociolinguistic aspects are considered, being the first one classified according to the SPEAKING grid. When making a social and linguistic study, the aim is to face and relate linguistic forms which unveil the reality and support human culture in a given social context.
