Impacto de las condiciones socioeconómicas y ambientales con relación a la presencia de enfermedades dermatológicas en la población infantil en el barrio San Antonio Ypecurú (vertedero municipal)

Community Dermatology is the practice of dermatology applied to communities, which is why this research project was selected pediatric population of Barrio San Antonio Ypecuru, as a population vulnerable to skin diseases and exposure to socioeconomic conditions and environmental influence greatly to the appearance of them. This aims to identify the major skin diseases and generate proposals for treatment and prevention mechanisms, through a descriptive, prospective, observational cross-sectional analytical component.
It divided the population of 63 children in groups of 10 children to better study and analysis. The research consisted of the application of individual records with the data of socioeconomic and environmental as well as a medical record where the conditions were found, evolution and treatment of them. Subsequently performed statistical data processing and analysis of relevant variables. The results indicate that 85.7% of the population was affected by one or more skin diseases, infectious and parasitic dermatoses constitute 42.86%, 57.14% non-infectious dermatoses of infectious diseases, furunculosis 12.69 % the most frequent, concluding that, there is a high ratio of risk factors , exposure to residues, malnutrition, overcrowding, poor hygiene habits for the presence of dermatological diseases.
