One of the most important pillars of the Paraguayan economy is the agricultural sector that generates more than 16% of GDP, also it remains an important climate and often limiting factor for the growth and development of the different agricultural items, in this case has sought to relations between the known and studied climatic factors and crop yields in our country. This study focused on the resilience of the most important crops of the country to the great variability of climatic factors associated with "El Niño Southern Oscillation" ENSO events. It was analyzed in a simple way the yields of soybean, wheat and corn from 1980 to 2004, correlated with the values of rainfall from October to March, plus previous work by Pasten et.all, (2006) on the sea surface temperature (SST) was used, where it clearly shows that while nationally was not clearly defined the relationship between crop yields and the SST of the equatorial Pacific.
