LA PROBLEMÁTICA DE LA CONTAMINACiÓN SONORA EN EL CENTRO HISTÓRICO DE ENCARNACIÓN

The realized investigation(research) seeks to analyze "The sonorous problematic in the historical center of Encarnación", the type of investigation (research) is descriptive, cuanti-qualitative, 119 surveys were realized, in 11 points of the commercial, administrative districts and residential (3 and 4 points for zone, 12 surveys for point of sampling), and level records of noise in 6 points of the above mentioned zones, in normal schedule and in rush hours, using the scale of compensation "A", that measures the noise the form in which it is perceived. The results indicate that in an alone sampled point the limit established by law excelled itself; nevertheless, 82% of the polled population perceives the existing noise as a sonorous pollution and to the motorcycles as principal source (fountain) of troublesome noises.
A scanty knowledge of the legislations exists on the part of the population, the polled ones request major municipal control, to arouse the inhabitants and to apply the laws.
The results indicate that in Paraguay one will have to re-see the values of decibels allowed due to the perception of the population of the sonorous pollution.
